Maxima
Features and Dimensions

Mattei's commitment to energy saving and environmental protection has led to the development of Maxima, a range of rotary vane compressors from 30 to 160 kW specifically designed to meet the needs of those installations where compressed air demand is constant and continuous.
As a confirmation of its excellent performances, Mattei obtained the TÜV certification.

MAXIMA: BEST SOLUTION TO SAVE ENERGY
MAXIMA: THE BEST SOLUTION TO SAVE ENERGY WITH CONSTANT AIR CONSUMPTION
THE NEW EFFICIENCY FRONTIER IN SINGLE-STAGE COMPRESSORS
Technological research at the base of the results obtained by Maxima:
up to 5,4 kW/m³/min. Low speed: only 1000 rpm.
The pumping unit's geometric design has been improved; excellent quality and adequate sizing have been the discriminating criteria in choosing materials; components and accessories; last but not least the compressors's rotational speed has been reduced to 1000 rpm.
These solutions together with the high efficiency obtained, offer other advantages for the global management of the machine.
HIGH EFFICIENCY MOTOR
The range is equipped with energy saving electric motors in premium efficiency
MAINTENANCE
Maintenance operations only include changing the oil at predetermined intervals, cleaning or replacing the air filter and cleaning the radiator. The separating filters can reach 10,000 working hours, with significant savings.
RELIABILITY
These compressors are designed for industrial use 24 hours a day and 12 months a year at constant pressure. Mattei compressors' running often exceeds 100,000 working hours.
EFFICIENCY
Maxima compressor has been designed to offer the best performance at full load. Mattei's exclusive compressor technology guarantees the best volumetric performance at 1000 rpm.
BLADES DESIGNED FOR OVER 50.000 HOURS LIFE
An oil film on the stator's inside surface prevents the moving parts from wearing out by avoiding a direct contact with the blades.
MODULATION OPERATING MODE AT CONSTANT PRESSURE
Thanks to a modulating proportional intake valve that supplies air at constant pressure, these compressors can even work without receiver.
HEAT RECOVERY
A significant amount of the energy used to compress air (approximately 80%) is dissipated as heat. Therefore, recovering this energy means saving energy.
Mattei has designed heat recovery kits to heat water for sanitary or process uses. These kits consist of water/oil heat exchangers, thermostatic valve and a hydraulic system and are integrated in the compressor air cooling system. This enables the installation to control oil temperature autonomously and protect itself from any water flow reduction or in case of overheating.
