Mattei's HTMD air dryer is equipped with:
- refrigerating air/gas exchanger, with condensate drain containing stainless demister;
- air/air exchanger to save on refrigerating power (standard from HTMD 12 model onwards);
- condensate drain through a timed valve (available from HTMD 03 to HTMD 64);
- condensate exhaust through an intelligent electronic condensate drain with level control; this drain can discharge condensate without any leaks in compressed air (standard from HTMD 77 to HTMD 170);
- both drains are installed outside the dryer and are preceded by a cock, with significant maintenance advantages;
- Energy Saving on/off operating mode; when the compressor operates in on or off load regimes, the HTMD dryer will work only if necessary, thanks to its cooling storage system.
