Rotary Vane Compressors from 1.5 to 3 kW of installed power, available in versions AS and AR. The ideal solution for small industry needs. The AS 100 Series is installed with a horizontal tank from 90 to 200 litres.

Operating Principle

Air is inhaled through a filter, passes into the inlet valve and enters the compression chambers; whose areas are defined by the stator, rotor, blades and covers. In respect to the stator, the rotor is unconventionally mounted and equipped with longitudinal grooves where the blades run maintaining contact with the stator by centrifugal force.

The seal between moving parts, the cooling system and lubrification are ensured by an efficient oil injection system. A film of oil on the interior surfaces of the stator prevents direct contact between moving parts, therefore preventing wear.

Air compression happens as a result of the volume reduction created during rotor and blade rotation in the stator. The mixture of oil and compressed air passes through various phases of mechanic and coalescent separation, and is purified until the air’s oil content is less than 5ppm (parts per million).

LOW COST OF USE

100 Series compressors are characterized by their complete motor-compressor integration and by the absence of a radiator, which is replaced by a specially finned oil-cooling chamber.  This guarantees considerably reduced maintenance costs and excellent reliability. 

MAINTENANCE

All components are easily accessible from the front cover for quick access in times of immediate need. 

DESCRIPTION OF PROGRAMMING AND CONTROL PANEL

The simple and functional control panel includes: a start and stop switch, a safety thermostat for motor overloads and for high oil temperature and a gauge. 

AIR QUALITY

The innovative system of mechanical air-oil separation permits high quality compressed air.  Likewise, the 100 Series compressors are provided with a highly useful anti-condensate lubricant system, able to protect metallic parts against wear in case of compressor underutilization.
